I generally leave my house at 6 am to get to the gym by 6:30-6:45 am.
It takes me approximately 20 minutes to drive to the gym.
From where I park, it takes me 15 minutes on foot to get to the gym (it’s the only free parking in a very central and expensive area).
Another 15 minutes to walk back to the car after I am finished and my daily walk is sorted.
Most of the days, my wife is with me in the car, except for Wednesday when she works from home.
When I am alone, and while walking to the gym, I listen to motivational podcasts such as Daily Motivation by Motiversity, which I find very good.
Listening to this podcast gives me the courage to embrace the day.
It makes me feel less alone on the very lonely journey that I am in.
Hearing that other (successful) people have walked in the same footsteps as I am now it makes me feel less alone, less afraid of being a failure.
It also makes me feel proud that I have chosen this path, the path of the 1%.
No excuses, hard work, consistency, iteration, constant improvement, never give up.
It’s a lonely path and what this podcast does is it gives me the courage to embrace the day.
It puts me in the right mindset and makes me think about who I am, where I am, who I am with and where I am going.
I would recommend this podcast to anybody who needs a bit of encouragement, especially at the beginning of the day.
